Team GB Judo Athlete
Before creating Oxford Magic Tours, Shane built an international career performing close-up magic for royalty, celebrities, global companies and private events.
Away from magic, Shane has represented Team GB in Judo, becoming an 18-time National Champion, winning Commonwealth Silver, and receiving an Oxford University Full Blue — the University’s highest sporting honour, achieved by only around 0.5% of students.
A serious neck injury recently forced Shane to put his competitive career on hold, with uncertainty over whether he would compete again. But in July 2026, he returned to the mat and began rebuilding his fitness.
His goal is now firmly set: to represent Team GB at the 2027 European and World Judo Championships.
Today, Shane brings his experiences from world-class entertainment, elite sport and Oxford together to create a walking tour unlike anything else in the city
